FAQ's
What are Bee Blessed Beeswax Wraps made from?
Our wraps are handmade in South Africa using 100% cotton, natural beeswax, tree resin, and jojoba oil, making them a fully eco-friendly, reusable, and compostable alternative to plastic wrap.
How do I use my beeswax wrap?
Simply use the warmth of your hands to mould it around food or containers. The wrap sticks naturally and creates a breathable, antibacterial seal that keeps food fresher for longer.
How do I wash my Beeswax Wraps?
To make your wraps last longer, clean them the right way: rinse with cool water and, if needed, use a mild dishwashing liquid. Gently rub the wrap between your hands or with a soft sponge. Avoid hot water, as it can damage the wax.
How long do beeswax wraps last?
With proper care, your Bee Blessed Beeswax Wrap can be reused for up to a year. After that, it can be composted, leaving zero waste behind.
What do I do if my wrap starts to wear out?
If your wrap starts to wear out, simply refresh it using our touch-up block. With a quick wax reapplication, your wrap will be as good as new.
What do I do when my wrap reaches the end of its life cycle?
When your beeswax wrap reaches the end of its life cycle, don’t throw it away. You can compost it, allowing it to break down naturally and return to the earth, or give it a second purpose by rolling it into a tight ball to use as a naturel fire starter.
What is your return/ refund policy?
And if you're not fully satisfied with your purchase, just send it back. We'll gladly replace it or offer a full refund.
Does the beeswax or resin smell affect the taste of my food?
Not at all. While your beeswax wrap may have a natural resin scent at first, it doesn’t transfer to your food or alter its taste. The smell comes from the natural ingredients and will gently fade after a few uses, leaving your wrap completely neutral and ready to keep your food fresh.
